Weekly Wednesday Workout: Flutter Kicks
We have got a fun one today for the legs and the abs! Double trouble!

I do this exercise in my abs express class and by the time it starts I am so ready for it to be over! I believe a variation of these are done in Pilates. These are also known as scissor kicks. It is an awesome core exercise as well as good work for the legs as well. I am so down for any exercise that work multiple muscle groups! Also, it is in front of the TV #approved! 🙂

I call these the “icing on the cake” b/c I usually save them for the very end of an ab trio! They are the afterburners and boy do they work!! One of my favs!! These should be in like an “ab” top 10 or hall of fame somewhere 🙂

I do love doing exercises while watching tv so this one may work not during scandal though I may fluttter and miss something.
Hahaha, this had me smiling. It’s so true though, if you blink during the last 2 minutes in the show, you will miss something!

I didn’t know these were called flutter kicks. I have been calling them leg raises. I do the flutter kicks as part of my morning AB workout. I do 10 sets of 50 reps of different AB exercises back to back in a cycle. Within the cycle I do 2 sets of 50 flutter kicks and 2 sets of 50 scissors kicks. They are very good AB exercises.

Over the holidays we do tend to watch movies and I am going to try these during one of those times! Also planks and situps and pushups are on the agenda! Bring on the good food!

I do this when I get a moment to put the baby down. For now, Deep squats while holding a 20lb baby is enough for me. Can’t wait to try a variation.

Those definitely look rough…especially considering those types of exercises always seem to be reserved for the end of workouts when you start off shaking from exhaustion.
Yes, but its good because its not a ton of moving around!
