Time to work those abs! Today we have another fantastic abs exercise from Fitness Magazine. Instead of lying on the ground, here is a great workout you can do with an exercise ball.
Don’t you love standing abs exercises? I think I pretty much love anything that doesn’t involve a crunch. What I love most about this move is that it not only focuses on the abs but on balance as well.
Abs workouts on the floor can get really boring really fast, and if you have a toddler around like I do, they theink it’s a great time to sit on mommy’s tummy. Standing gives a bit more control of the movement!
Another thing that is great about this move is that you can take your time and make it happen. There is no rush and all of the muscles that are needed are targeted. You can add this to the end of a cardio workout or to your existing abs routine!
If you don’t have a resistance ball I recommend using a dumbbell and holding each end upright.
The slow movement not only targets multiple parts but forces you to stand on leg with control. Slow burn for sure!
