by Nellie

This glute bridge march is great for working the entire abs. Marching your legs out makes this move great for when you are tired of doing regular crunches.

Effective Abs Workouts: The Glute Bridge March

Time to work those abs! Tired of the regular boring crunch? Here is a great move that will fire up your abs!

The glute bridge march is a great move that engages both the abs and the legs for one fluid movement. Most times abs exercises are done with your back flat on the floor. This one engages your glutes for a great abs workout!

This one is different because not only are you lifting your back off the floor, you are walking your legs out and in to get to those deep ab muscles.

This workout may look easy but it surely is not! This move requires a good amount of effort to complete.

It’s a great body weight move that you can do anywhere including the living room, bedroom and pretty much anywhere that has a floor!

I love this move! It’s not easy, by any means but it’s fun.

I totally tried it in my hotel room in Israel and it was hard stuff. I’m not even sure if it harder when having my complete foot down or doing the move as suggested on my heels. Either way it’s a great alternative to crunches because it gets the abs on fire real quick!

Sadly wouldn’t be able to do this with my back, but seriously wish I could as it look like a great way to tighten those stubborn abs!

Thanks for putting a video with this! I have tried this workout before but she gave some great tips about lifting the toes up and I found it even harder (which I find is a good thing!).

What a great twist on a traditional move! And I always felt awkward doing repeated hip lifts in the gym. Definitely going to give this a try!
