Just hours after jumping off a red eye from Israel I slept for most of the day and headed out to Pier 92 for Rachael Ray’s Burger Bash, which was just what I needed because as much as I LOVED Israeli food it was so time for a good ole American burger.
As a key part of New York Wine and Food Festival going 8 years strong, Rachael Ray’s Burger Bash was on the pier 92 rooftop boasting amazing views, food and aromas.
Samsung Home invited me as their guest and had so much stuff to share with me! First of all they now have a beautiful Black Stainless Steel finish to all of the appliances we saw in the Hamptons earlier in the summer. Black Stainless Steel Collection, a suite of premium products which offer the perfect combination of style & intelligence. The products – the 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator, theFlex Duo™ Range with Dual Door, the Top Control Dishwasher with WaterWall™ Technology, and the Over the Range Microwave – offer amazing performance and flexibility in storing, preserving, cooking and heating up food, while making the post-dinner clean-up easier and more convenient than ever.
You may even recognize the amazing winner of The Taste Gabe Kennedy in the taste and the amazing chef that I couldn’t stop raving about at the drop event earlier this year. He even remembered me and gave me a hug which was so sweet!
After our awesome presentation it was time to eat, and I was happy because my belly was ready.
I visited so many booths but I did not try every burger (that was a recipe for certain disaster) so instead I went over to the incredible band that had me dancing and singing along.
Finally I decided to eat! Thankfully every burger was cut into sample sizes so the guests could eat and not feel committed to just one burger. I tried this burger with a potato pancake, 2 cheeses and Mac n Cheese! It was amazing but I don’t think I could have eaten more than my quarter portion!
I tried a few more that was okay but nothing to write home about. I wasn’t the one who was judging the competition so it didn’t matter! My tummy was filled before my eyes were so I ended my eating night with a yummy treat from Big Gay Ice Cream. They have been a NYC staple since forever but it’s my first time trying it and yes–I totally get the hype!!
I even got to meet Marcus Samuellson, got a signed copy of his book and he is so adorable and sweet in person!!
Finally the queen of the night came out to greet us:
It was a great event, I wish I had more room in my tummy to try all the good stuff but everything I had was so good! Special thanks to Samsung Home for the opportunity!
