Today we are working on out bums again!

I actually like this one a lot because again it is a exercise that the kids can do with you and you will probably giggle doing it. When I do these it requires a lot of balance and super concentration. You kind of looks like an airplane ready for flight with this one and it is both gym and home appropriate. You will easily feel the effect of these after a few reps. It would be even more awesome if you add weights!!

Have you would you/ever try Arabesque Raises?

I do these a lot with weights. Talk about a balance challenge! You can also hold the “airplane” position and do curls or rows for an added burn. Another good one Nellie!

So funny you added the comment about using weights (and I saw that Allie uses weights, too) because I was watching the video thinking I would do this move with weights. Can’t wait to give it a try – I’m sure there will be lots of wobbling!!!

Oh I love these! Weights would make it really difficult. It’s kind of across between a Warrior 3 in yoga and a barre move. What if you tried it on an unstable surface, like a bosu ball. Now that would be really hard!

It does look like an airplane & I bet the kids love this. Is it kosher to make requests? I need some more creative upper body moves, lol! Can you add that to the scheduler while you are hunting out these fabulous finds please. It’s so easy to just steal from you & Kim when putting together classes πŸ™‚

I really like these. I do them during training sessions as part of my stabilizing routine for my knees and ankles.

I am SO not balanced enough for this exercise! You’re right that the kids would have fun doing it. T would probably add a bunch of twirls and twists to it.

Balance is one thing I do not have. You should see me on one of those balance balls…it is hysterical. But I can laugh at myself!

Ma’am I am not adding any weights you have got to be kidding. Me and the kids will do the airplane this weekend this looks like fun and since they have fall break next week I will incorporate them in some at home exercises to get them moving.

I like these. Put dumbbells in your hands and when you are balanced do a back row with them. You’ll love it. πŸ™‚

I like those. I did a few with my daughter when she was taking ballet. Of course she was way more graceful than I was.lol
