This is a sponsored post. As a brand ambassador for Protein Fight Club I will be sharing my own opinions and maybe a funny story or two.
A few weeks ago I shared with you guys that I met with a nutritionist, and she said that she suspects the reason why I haven’t lost these last 10 pounds is because of lack of protein.
According to my fitness pal I should be getting 80 grams of protein a day, according to the nutritionist I should be getting at least 120g of protein daily! I even heard one time that you should be eating your body weight of protein every day…say what?
So although I haven’t quite been able to hit the 120 mark, I have been purposely seeking out protein to add to my diet.
Since I am a natural milk drinker, I was happy to learn that I get 8 grams of high quality protein with each 8 ounce cup! My meals generally hover around 20-30 grams of protein so having a couple of glasses of milk daily actually help my goals.
I’ve also been learning about other protein sources like lentils, beans, and don’t forget the trusty protein bar that hangs out in my purse.
The cool thing about it is that you can have a glass of milk with your favorite breakfast and you have easily added more protein to your meal. A better bang for your buck than orange juice but you can see the battle of milk vs. orange juice below and make your own decision! 🙂

How do you make sure you get in your protein everyday? For my non milk drinkers what is your main source of protein?
