Family Forward Conference at
Universal Studios Florida Part 2
Part One included highlights of our travel and the awesome dinner and fun we had on our first night—Day 2 would not disappoint!
After a very yummy breakfast (did I mention that breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day? Is there anything better than a breakfast buffet? All questions you need to ask yourself)—we had our first family session sponsored by Doh Vinci for the second year in a row!
They provided the Doh Vinci products for the kids to make their own beautiful artwork. What I loved most about the activity was that the littles weren’t left alone with nothing to do—they got new containers of play doh! I am all about the Play doh when I don’t have to clean it out of my beige carpet. 🙂
Fun with Royal Caribbean
Our caribbean themed lunch was so good y’all. You know my roots are in the Caribbean so I am a bit of a snob when it comes to anyone (other than my mom) cooking. The food was LEGIT. The rice and beans, pork and plantain were my favorites. There were a lot more choices like Jerk Chicken and seafood—and everything looked amazing. I was beyond impressed.

SAMSUNG CSC
I was also super impressed by the awesome things Royal Caribbean has one their boats! They are definitely one of the most family friendly cruise lines, with awesome water slides, ports and did I mention the WIFI is the best in the sea? That was music to this bloggers ears! Shrek even made an appearance!
Wet N Wild
I have never been to Wet N Wild—I know—but I heard so many good things about it! I am NOT a water park person—it has nothing to do with me not swimming but I am simply not a fan of getting wet, getting dry, getting wet again. However, I seem to be in the minority because the rest of my family and group had a blast!
The wave pool was kinda awesome though, I have to admit. The water was temptingly warm and the whole atmosphere was beautiful. The hubby had fun while I hung out on the sides taking pictures. It’s a shame the park is closing down soon because it is really a great place for the kids.
Stay tuned for part 3 which will include the behind the scenes V.I.P Tour of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure!

I hear you on the water parks – not a fan! The boys love them though, of course, so we did hit one in New Hampshire this summer. Luckily they are old enough now to do a lot on their own!! 🙂
I was so smiling about the Playdough, as I think you know how I feel about it, but still as long as it isn’t in my home and somewhere, I a totally good with it, too 🙂
This looks like so much fun for your family! I love plantains but I can’t find them here yet. Still on the search!
What fun! The second day looks amazing. So glad you and the fam had an awesome time. We haven’t been on a cruise…yet. Would love to take them on a Caribbean cruise!
I’m with you! Breakfast. Favorite. I dream about it the night before. Buffets are my friend.
Lunch too!
I’m not a huge water park person, probably because I was so awkward in middle school and I was afraid of being seen in a bathing suit, and my hair getting curly in the water.. and my mascara running. (see a pattern here?)
Lately I appreciate it more because I don’t tolerate heat the way my kids do, so I like the option to do it!
Since I can’t swim I am not a huge fan of water parks but I do try to put my foot in. That food…I am hating on that food. Can’t wait to hear more.
So much fun! I had a lot of fun on the one Royal Caribbean Cruise we took for our honeymoon. And free wi-fi is always a bonus. Looks like everyone had a blast at the water park, too. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: your little one has THE BEST grin.
