Happy New York Fashion Week!
Due to all of the insanity happening in my daily life these days (come ON November 2nd!) I haven’t been able to attend any New York Fashion Week events. Sad Panda. I had so much fun last year attending the Oiselle Runway Fashion Show and all of the other fun events, but this year I’ve had to scale the events all the way down until I reach my goal of crossing the finish line of the New York City Marathon.
JUST because I am not sitting on the sides of a runway this week with my camera in hand doesn’t mean that I can’t be extra stylish. A few months ago before I left my job, I had the opportunity to get a bunch of dresses for the very low price of $10 at a sample sale. I am a sucker for a really good sample sale–who isn’t?
What most people don’t realize about me is that I love accessories. Always the late bloomer, I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was 20 years old. Now I LOVE my accessories and there is one special piece that I wear everyday because not only is it functional, it’s super stylish as well!
You guys know how I love my fitness gear so the fact that my Mira Fitness Bracelet + Tracker not only counts my steps, tells me how many calories I’ve burned, how many feet I’ve climbed and even the time–which comes in super handy when you don’t want to look at your phone during a run!
When I get compliments on my bracelet I can’t wait to shock their pants off and tell them that it’s actually a fitness tracker. I get a lot of fun out of the littlest things! I show them how it works and they are floored. They want one, of course. 🙂
This next dress I got from Old Navy, I don’t know about you but Old Navy dresses are just so comfy yet so pretty!
Fitness tracking can be beautiful too–it’s a classic type of accessory that looks good with all dresses, t-shirts, athletic wear and anything you can think of. It’s super feminine and cute! The brass color goes with everything and the app is awesome (but I told you about that last time!).
