Weekly Wednesday Workout: Side to Side Plie

This is a fun twist on the plie squats we all know and love. What I like about these side to side Plies is that there is more cardio action. I can only imagine what would happen if you add some free weights to this move! It’s a really cool way to switch things up, and it is an awesome move to add to your daily routine.

Oh baby! I haven’t done these in a long time, but I remember how much they burn the inside of those adductor muscles. Ouch!! Thanks for the reminder on this one…
I did this years back and loved them for my legs. Might need to try again, because my legs are definitely in need of a good workout! Thanks 🙂

I think I’ve been saying the word plie wrong all this time – I’ve never heard it said like she did in the video.
Ok, so I just tried these.It looked easy at first, but now I’ve hobbled back to my desk to type this comment. I’m FEELING THE BURN! LOL
This reminds me of my old dance class days! Ouch! And also – awesome. I can feel the burn in my imagination.
Am I a snob for being annoyed every time I hear her say “plié” incorrectly? The exercise is a great one though!
