My Fitbloggin trip started with a really easy peaceful Amtrak ride to Baltimore. I couldn’t come out the night before because of work but I got up really early on Friday and made my way to Baltimore.
When I got there I went straight to my hotel, dropped off my stuff then headed to the Hyatt. When I got in, check in was super easy and I got a HUGE bag of swag.
(Sidebar: This swag was seriously impressive! I got a huge beautiful new gym bag then I was ushered across the way to pick up my free pair of brand new reeboks! YES THANK YOU! The swag didn’t stop there I got a pretty awesome cookbook, lots of high quality new workout clothes, cooking supplies, and SO much more it was truly impressive!! Thank you SO much to all the wonderful sponsors!)
My First FitBloggin Conference!
The first session I went to was the Self Acceptance session, it was one of the highlights on the entire conference. So many shared their beautiful stories of self acceptance, the beautiful thing about fitbloggin is that we all understood each other, we were in different stages of weight loss and maintenance but we all got it. I cried, several times during that session and somehow I knew, I was in the right place, this is exactly what my soul needed.

After the sessions were done, I went back to my hotel to shower and change for the night ahead.
The Ignite Session was next and this was where some fitbloggin’ presenters spent 5 (timed) minutes each on the topic of their choice. They were all so GOOD! I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Aliah got a bunch of us together and we went to one of Bmore’s happening after hours spots “power live” It sort of reminded me of a City Walk Orlando type of area where you could go into different bars and chill.
I had SUCH a good time, I danced and danced, and it was SO much fun hanging out with these peeps!
We left around 2am, I cabbed it back to my hotel and Day one of Fitbloggin was complete.
