Weekly Wednesday Workout: Pilates Leg Pull Front Exercise

So I know my Pilates loving friends will love this one! This Leg Pull front exercise is not easy folks!

httpv://youtu.be/Bj1Z0-7ditc

Something that I really love about this move is the stability that it demands from your body. While remaining in a push up position you actually have to lift your legs alternately while staying all the way up on your arms. This requires some serious core strength which is pretty much what Pilates focuses on. This move is pretty awesome though, and I love doing these at the gym because I never see anyone else doing them!

Have you ever tried this move or something similar?

How cute that they are twins working out together! I can see that this Pilates move requires a lot of strength and endurance.

good stuff! although I thought I was seeing double there for a sec. I typically keep my core tightened in a frozen position while hiding from my kids in the closet. Takes a lot of core strength to stay calm when I’m being terrorized & hiding out. (good gawd, I need a vacation)

I think I love these posts first of all for your knowledge. Second of all, to see Joi’s thoughtful response. Third of all, to see Lisa and/or Ashley’s responses! They’re hilarious! And I love that you never see other people do them. When you do them do they all look at you in awe?
