This week was definitely more good than bad. Portland was absolutely off the chain, I ate on all ends of the spectrum–super healthy to SO bad! It is such a good thing I don’t live in Portland because the food trucks are legendary and way too tempting! Once I got back to work on Tuesday, I was able to go back to my smoothies and salads. Thank goodness this was already a habit because if not, I would have continued on the junk food trend!
I didn’t do any July 4th BBQs so I was good on that front, usually I love to go to a cookout, eat and roll myself out of there. We had a mini bbq, but kept everything super healthy and easy.
I am feeling really good physically this week, I took more rest days than normal this week because of the non stop exercise fest that was Fitbloggin. I also had a weird jet lag thing happen, where I would be extremely tired by the time 2pm hit on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. It was only 4 days and my whole body has been thrown off!
I am excited to say that I am running THE COLOR RUN on Saturday! After months and months of watching my blogger family experience this race I am SO excited to run it myself. I will most likely be run/walking and not running it straight as this is more for the experience than for personal records :). I plan on resting Saturday evening and Sunday and gearing up for a back to normal workout week next week.
