Living in a house full of boys, I have to make sure that my snacks are always present and abundant. Both of my boys have entered the eat every 5 minutes stage and I simply cannot keep up! Usually there is no downtime between meals and I need to have good and healthy snacks on hand at all times because I’d rather be filling them up with the healthy stuff than the junk so often.
I was invited by the makers of GoGo Squeez to celebrate their new low fat yogurt GoGo Squeez Yogurtz! of course there are no preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, BPA free, Gluten free, Kosher certified, and nut free–but the BEST part is that they don’t need refrigeration! The pouches are filled, sealed, and heat treated, so that you can store at room temperature until opened.
This is a total game changer.
We celebrated the new GoGo Squeez Yogurtz with a fun event on the west side of Manhattan. My mom was gracious enough to bring the kids to the city, so it was a super nice treat to take them to a “fun place” on a week night.
There was a fun coloring station where you could design your own pouch for your GoGo Squeeze Yogurtz pouch. My eldest was all over it but meanwhile the little was running all over the place and even asked for his own plate of strawberries, which of course he got.
There was also a fun station where you could make your own yogurt, filled with fresh fruits so the kids could pair the yogurt with whatever they wanted!
Ice Skating Rink
The cool part about the event was that there was a man made ice skating rink for the kids to play on. Since the kids have never been ice skating before, I was a complete nervous nellie for them to even step foot into the rink. I was silently hyperventilating simply wondering what would happen to them out there. They had never even been on roller skates before and I am personally horrible at skating myself so to say I was scared to let them on the ice was an understatement.
Alas, my husband convinced me that it would all be okay (he is very good at that). We strapped up the boys, I kept my fears to myself and watched them go. There was an amazing guide on the ice that was so patient with them and within 5 minutes they were on their own going from side to side–falling a couple times but having a blast the whole while.
Showed me that I HAVE to let go of my own fears when it comes to my kids, at the very least I need to keep them under control and just let them be kids. They played on the ice and were so sad to leave, but they did participate in the dance party and got a bag full of goodies to take home with them!
