I had the pleasure of guest posting over on Roni’s blog The Travel Guru sharing my very quick and fun trip to San Francisco–we did so much in our 6 hours and I fell in love with the chill vibe of the city. We squeezed in so much fun into the day–check out the preview!
Last year after I attended the BlogHer 14 Blogging Conference in San Jose California my flight didn’t leave until 11pm Sunday night. Since the conference officially ended on Saturday night my roomie and I decided to take a very quick trip to San Francisco on Sunday Morning. We had never been and we had 6 hours to make it epic!
The ride from San Jose was interesting– it took us about 2 hours with a lot of local stops on a Sunday morning. When we arrived, we took a quick cab to the famous Pier 39.
It was a bit more crowded than usual because 30,000 people had competed in the San Francisco Half Marathon just a few hours before but it was still manageable. Since I am completely used to dealing with the New York crowds I didn’t feel out of place in the least!
