Weekly Wednesday Workout: Lift Off Lunges

We are working those legs and that booty today!

 

So I had never seen this move before I stumbled upon it on YouTube! I tried these in the house and they are so good for a quick burn! Not only that but with most lunges your heart rate goes up pretty fast but since the bounce adds an additional cardio element, the work you put in is serious!! I like it though, its a great way to part from traditional lunges too.

Have you ever tried Lift Off Lunges?

I like that move! Never seen it before either. She speaks of your knee slightly kissing the floor. That’s way better than a full face plant. Right?

I’ve never done these! Is that a bad thing, if your heart rate goes up too fast? I always wonder about that when people talk about measuring their heart rates. Total beginner here.

nah, when your heartrate goes up fast it basically means that you are working hard and working that heart muscle which is really always the goal. strong hearts 🙂

For some reason, lunges are one of the hardest exercises for me to do, and these look ridiculous. Give me squats over lunges any day! (which probably means I need to do more lunges….)

My goodness! You can tell she does these for a living! I’ve never done these before but yes, I definitely want to try them. I can see these getting me a nice quick burn for sure!
