Weekly Wednesday Workout: Single Leg Dumbbell Row

Today we are working our back, core, legs–you name it!

I like this move a lot, although I need to work on my balance this is a great move that targets multiple major muscle groups. I normally do these with 5-7.5 pound dumbbells in each hand. This is another one of those moves that you definitely don’t need the gym for and it can tone up your back, legs and if you keep your core tight, your abs too!!



Have you ever tried a Single Leg Dumbell Row?

Great balancing move! I have never tried it myself…yet. Good point in mentioning that you don’t need to go to a gym to do these!

I really wish I didn’t have so many issues with my lower back, but just looking at that move makes me fear throwing my back out. Plus even without that, I have no balance and have always been a klutz. So, I probably would somehow fall on my face trying to do this, but yet so wish I could 😉

I think this is a really good move for balance and even stretching of the legs from the bending over portion. If I’m looking to build strength, though, I prefer to break these moves up, so that I can use heavier weight. Love when you share exercises!

That woman is no joke! I can barely keep my balance for lunges….I can’t imagine keeping my balance through all those rows!
