Weekly Wednesday Workout: Crossover Jacks

Time to get that heart rate up!

Believe it or not I am actually a fan of jumping jacks! Anyone who has taken my Zumba class knows that I love to find ways to incorporate jumping jacks into a song. This is a whole new level of jumping jacks! I like this one because it challenges different muscles and makes you work just a bit harder with the arms crossing the body. Maybe I should do these instead?

Have you ever tried crossover jacks?

I used to do these in my Boot Camp classes all the time! They are actually really great in a warm-up too but you get a lot of heavy sighs from participants when you start doing jacks! Love it.

Those actually look like a lot of fun! And I could totally see them being part of a Zumba or other aerobics class.
