Well after a long winter looks like Spring is here! I actually saw a woman in shorts yesterday in the city. I think we are all a bit too ready for the warmer temps!
Tuesday: 3 Miles
Wednesday: 15 miles on Spin Bike
Thursday: 3 miles
Sunday: Women’s More/FITNESS Half Marathon!
Just a bit of easy running this week, all of it on the treadmill because despite beautiful weather my schedule is a lot harder for me to get outside. Hopefully soon I will be able to get outside more–I’ve spent enough time on the treadmill this winter!
On Wednesday I got on the spin bike for 15 miles, it was wonderful. It’s been a while since I’ve been spinning and I forgot how awesome it is to get on a bike and just rock out! I may or may not have been having too good of a time on the bike so if a clip of me having fun on a spin bike shows up in your facebook feed–do me a favor and share it with a sista! 🙂
I’m so excited for the Women’s MORE/Fitness Half this Sunday! This race is filled with a ton of firsts!

- My first race where my kids will be there at the end <3
Thank goodness there is no rain predicted!! It is exactly the opposite from the cold and rainy RnRDC half marathon last month. Can you believe I will be wearing a singlet, tutu and capris?! This is a far cry from the thousands of layers I wore at the Scotland 10k two weeks ago!
As usual this is a pressure free race for me–I am just excited for the girl power type atmosphere, the festival and of course the bling! Maybe one day racing will get competitive for me but today is not that day. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some interviews too and maybe even go for brunch with my boys, 🙂 the perfect Sunday don’t you think?
