The 30 Second Body Workout + C9 Champion Review + Giveaway!
Last week I had the pleasure of being invited to try the 30 Second Body Workout by fitness guru Adam Rosante AND check out and try new workout gear from C9 Champion at Target. Did someone say try new fitness clothing AND get a free workout from one of the leading voices in fitness? Yes. Please.
Adam Rosante’s new 30 Second Body Workout book provides tons of body weight exercises that you can do at your own pace for 30 second each. No equipment needed! There is a full exercise plan in the book for all levels and all you need is yourself and a little space to move! I’m giving away a copy of the book today (and more!) but more on that later!
When I arrived at Target Studios, I was directed to pick what I wanted from the racks. I felt like I was in the movies–I could pick my own outfit?! Head to toe?! I was so excited but also so overwhelmed because the choices were all so pretty. The pieces were all interchangeable and perfectly bright for Spring without being overbearing.
I ended up choosing grey leggings with black accents on the side with a grey and green tank, grey and green sports bra, and a grey and green 1/2 zip. As you can tell, I was absolutely in love with the grey and green combination–in my vast closet I have nothing like this!
After I got dressed, I was put into the makeup chair which honestly a experience I can never get tired of. Sitting in the chair having a great conversation with the makeup artist was just about the most relaxing thing I could do after a long day of work.
While I was getting my makeup done, Adam came over and introduced himself. Instantly I knew I liked him. He had a great vibe no pretense, no fluff. His attitude was “Let’s get to world and have a great time too!”
We went over to the studio area and he briefly explained that I would be doing 2 rounds, 4 exercises at 30 second each. I totally agreed because how bad could it be? I mean it was only 2 full minutes of exercising. I’m pretty sure I won’t even perspire.
That one time Adam Rosante showed me who was boss in a matter of 2 minutes! I did plank punches, squat jumps, standing mountain climbers and more.
By the time we were done I was hollering for it to be over! Not only did I perspire I was sweating like I just ran 10 miles. It was only 2 minutes! Goes to show how much you can do with your own body weight in such a small period of time! Check out the video! Full video coming soon!
I am no stranger to C9 Champion as I have a few pieces from previous collections. This workout–as intense as it was–only made me look good because of the clothes I had on. The lime green 1/2 zip was soft, flexible and didn’t feel like it was moisture wicking (but it was!). The leggings held up nicely (and held everything together!) while I was getting my tail kicked by Adam!
