3 Time Saving Tips To Help You Take Back Your Day #TheDayIsYours

by Nellie

Do you feel like the day just disappears and you have no idea what you did?

I know this feeling. Before I became super intentional about my hours, minutes and seconds for that matter it would seem like time lapsed and nothing that I needed to do was done. I often get questions from my friends about how I do so much–and I strongly believe that time management skills is a strong reason why I’m able complete tasks and get the most out of my day.

This is why I am so excited to partner with Premier Protein as a Brand Ambassador for 2017! Every month I will be sharing awesome tips on how you can make The Day Yours! Plus I’ll be chatting about the delish new treats, flavors and general awesome that will be coming from Premier Protein!

3 Time Saving Tips To Take Back Your Day #TheDayIsYours

  1. Social Media Blackout: I know all about this, I am the ultimate Facebook master scroller. I’m not even talking about checking out the shenanigans of my friends but rather I get sucked into the massive amount of groups that I am in. Before you know it–a few clicks here, several scrolls, long statuses later and 15 minutes has been sucked from my day. The trick is to catch yourself BEFORE you get drawn in.
  2. Quit Multitasking: I know this sounds crazy because it seems like I multitask a lot. I actually don’t. Since becoming an entreprenur I have been focusing on one thing at a time. I make my lists and check them off as I go. It is super easy to do 100 things wrong, but way easier to concentrate and ace just one thing.
  3. Write Things Down/Plan: I have an extensive series on paper planners upcoming on how they have changed my business (and life for that matter). However, when you are a busy person there are important things that are constantly floating in the air that you need to do, but tend to get bogged down in the little things. Writing things down helps you plan your day efficiently.

The best thing about Premier Protein’s line of shakes, powders and bars is that it give people the sustained energy to help them make the most of every day so they can do and achieve what they want, in addition to what they need to do.

The Premier Protein 30g bars come in seven delicious flavors, including Chocolate Peanut Butter, Yogurt Peanut Crunch, Peanut Butter Crunch, New Salted Caramel (my favorite!), Dark Chocolate Mint, New Dark Chocolate Almond and Double Chocolate Crunch. The flavors are super yummy and helps you stay satiated especially when you need to stay focused and get stuff done!

Seriously greta advice and I will tell you that this year I just added in a physical planner on top of my iPhone calendar, which really has made all the difference and helped me keep more organized and saved me some time here, as well. But thanks for sharing the others, too as I most definitely need to blackout social media more as a rule of thumb at times.

One thing with me is the Facebook thing. I used to look at my feed by “most recent.” Well I have a lot of friends on there and follow a lot of pages. What a time-suck! Now I just scroll by “most popular” and even though the algorithms are probably creepy and terrible, I only go on there for about ten minutes a day, rather than over an hour. Yikes.

I can’t give up all of social media…I will cry. I have slacked up on instagram though a lot. I can’t stop multitasking….it’s a huge problem

Taking back my day is the theme of my month this far. I’m trying everything possible to make my minutes count. I’ve found that I can maximize my time by using my breast pump and promoting my endeavors at the same time. And I’ve definitely learned to cut back on Facebook. Those bloggers groups surely are a time suck!
