Weekly Wednesday Workout: Single Leg Bridge Ups
She’s BACK! Time to work those legs!

I love this move, it’s one of those moves that torches your lower body area and has no mercy. My trainer had me do these last week with the exercise ball instead of the chair and they were tough! Although its a toning move, it had my heart rate going a bit too! It’s a nice alternative to to crunches too!

Part of my hip issues last year I think were related to what Miss Zippy called lazy glutes because I sit all day at my job. Since I have been working on it I have so far found it to work. This would be a good addition to what I do already!
Oh yea – she’s back!! This makes me so happy but, bridges on a chair would probably make me cry. Yikes!! I’ve never done them on a chair!? My hamstrings hurt just looking at that.
NOPE but I will now.
(((wish me luck)))
I totally did a variation on these back in the day before all my lower back issues. Nowadays not so sure if I got down on the floor to do these I could get back up sadly!!
I need to get back to single leg bridges…they are TOUGH in any varation I’ve tried! But they are so good for you!
Oh, I’ve never done single leg bridges like these but plan to do them soon. I think I will try the ball method!!
I love how crazy effective these are, even without weights! I also like weighted step ups, since I don’t always want to lay down on my gym’s floor.
Girl when we do those my bootie is on fire for days.
My booty is burning just from looking at this move! And on a ball… I can only imagine.
I might possibly end up taking a nap on the “down” part of that move. It looks relaxing.
I can really feel this working my it when I do them. It’s way better than just having your foot on the floor!
I bet using the exercise ball added a great stability component to your workout! I always feel awkward doing moves like this at the gym – especially because it’s not uncommon for me to run into a co-worker or two while I’m there. These would be a great ‘exercise while watching tv’ move, though.
My girl is back! And.. ouch. I can’t imagine. I’d love to do it while watching a movie, though. Is that so lazy?
