Weekly Wednesday Workout: Single Leg Hip Lifts
Its been 3 weeks since our last Weekly Wednesday Workout! Say What?! So let’s bring the new year in with a all over move that will challenge even the fittest of the fit!
So I’m definitely not going to tell you how easy this is, and that anyone can do it because that would beย malarkey. However, I will tell you that with practice you can get better at these, I would start with a few then work my way up. When I tried these I just couldn’t after 5. #realtalk! This is a great move however to work on the lower body and abs. It takes a lot of core strength to lift yourself up on one leg like this. ย WHEN I learn to master these I am going to be popping my collar like no other because these are TOUGH!

Ah yes, I definitely do these a lot in my power sculpt class. They make my hamstrings BURN! When you advance, try putting your “floor” foot on a stability ball – it’s an added balance challenge ๐

Oh yikes. I am sticking to my plank challenge for now. I may need to start watching tv to keep my mind off of it (and my eyes off the clock)!

Can’t believe it was 3 weeks, but the holidays truly did fly by and now here we are trying to get back to a routine. At least I know I am!! ๐

Jillian Michaels does these a lot in her DVDs and they are effective!!

I’m with Michelle! My plank challenge is for January. As for February? Hey, anything can happen. These look hard and burn-y but I bet totally worth it.

Oh yes…these are HARD! I tried these one and could barely get through one set…Definitely something I would have to try again, but much further into my joruney! LOL!

yes exactly!! I hard a hard time with my feet on the ground too ๐
