Weekly Wednesday Workout: Pushups With A Twist

┬áThis Week’s Wednesday Workout : Planks With A Twist

This exercise is just like the ones we do at total body class. (Don’t you love how easy these are coming to the lady in the video?) I love it though. She is flowing through these push ups so effortlessly! As I’ve mentioned before I am pretty weak in my core area post baby so I have started to do lots of different ab exercises to start to get my mid section back to normal.

Push ups are hard enough but one thing I like about these is that you can’t do girlie push ups you have to go all the way with these in order to pull the knees up to the chest. It is great for the abs while giving a really good overall toning workout.

Do you do girlie push ups? Or do you go for it?

In my mind I can go hard but I admit its hard to do push ups and even harder to do sit ups I am trying to do at least 5 every night.

That’s a bad chick in this video! I do options when I’m teaching so people aren’t just trying to match me, but solo dolo, I go big.

Only girly push ups here…but WOW,..I am SO impressed by the video. She is amazing. She really does make it look like no big thing. Whew! Something to strive for!!

Hi, I’m visiting your blog today because you visited mine on Monday. So I guess you could say I’m stopping by from SITS.

You are a fierce woman! I can do maybe 5 push ups and then I’m done. I’ve never had upper body strength. All of my strength is in my lower body and legs. I can climb stairs like nobodies business, for every push up I can’t do I can do at least 5 squats and whenever I need to move something that’s heavy but is on the ground – no joke I push it with my butt.

I’ve been trying to get back into shape but it’s slow going. My mother sells Herbalife and I’ve been drinking those twice a day plus all the supplements but I haven’t been exercising because I’ve been ridiculously sick. I’m starting to get over it and then it’s back to the fitness plan for me!

Well, I just wanted to drop by and give back some of the love you gave me. I love the blog. Perhaps sometime I’ll try to get that workout above into my routine.

I do big lady push ups, so sense wasting time doing girlie ones!!! Those with the weights look good:)
