Okay so I have been a little bit intrigued with this crossfit phenomena, but I have been unable to take a class yet (because they are so darn expensive) so I found a really great move on YouTube that I could seamlessly add to my routine:
Oh my! These are HARD. I know my core was weak but I didn’t realize it was THIS weak. When I tried to do these I was pretty shocked at how difficult it was for me. I have to continue to work pretty hard on my abs to be able to do a full set of these. On my first try I was only able to complete about 6 of these and the technique wasn’t very smooth at ALL.
I will try to do these at least twice a week, and build my abdominals back to its former glory! (not talking a six pack, because that will never happen, but certainly toned and non puffy)
Would you try this AB exercise?

That’s good stuff right there. And twice a week is a good plan, too. You’re gonna be surprised at how quickly you see progress.
I’ll try it, my abs are not my strong spot. It’s gotten better over the last year though.
OMG…if YOU thought this was hard, it would probably kill me on the spot. I can only imagine the quivering my pathetic little ab muscle cells would do if I attempted these. I need to get a better core. (or a core of any kind, really)

Dag these ARE hard. I won’t be too tough on myself though, I just had a baby 10 weeks ago. I must add this to my workout.

Hi, I’m a lurker! Lol! As far as cross fit classes try Groupon or Living Social they always have coupons. Also, the CrossFit on 23rd(or a block over) have a Friday night deal for like $10. I haven’t tried it yet but my coworkers have and loved the class.
As far as these situps they are a beast. We do them in my bootcamp class!
