After spending 72 hours involuntarily fasting because of a stomach virus last weekend, my re-entry back into food has been pretty good. I had some sweets, (my job is the king of cookies!) Overall I wasn’t too bad! I know if I was able to workout the way I wanted too I would have done a lot more damage this week. I have gone back to oatmeal in the morning because of the weather (baby ITS COLD OUTSIDE) and I honestly was tired of the eggs trend I had going on there for a while. I haven’t been over eating (when I actually was eating) and my choices have been decent.
Confession: Being sick back to back TO BACK (still sick now with this cough/breathing issues) has really put a kink in my weight loss drive. Couple that with Christmas and an unexpectedly busy work week, I have just been out of it. Its tough, managing sick children, being sick, coming home from work and baking holiday orders, + everything else.
The good thing about this is that I’m still in the race, I may be moving slower, breathing harder, fatigued beyond belief but I am still IN IT to WIN IT.
It’s been a tough week, no doubt, but I’m so ready to give 100% again. Once my body is ready to cooperate 🙂 I am on yet a new set of meds so pray this works!
