Weekly Confession: I am a food gadget ADDICT!

Last tuesday night, as I was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch, I saw that one of my favorite shows ever was on…
In the Kitchen with David on QVC!
Now I know what you are thinking, who has a favorite TV show on a shopping channel?!
I do!
In the Kitchen with David usually airs on Sunday afternoons, @ 12 on QVC and my hubby and I are addicted.
The host, David Venable, has THE sweetest personality ever and he is just plain adorable. He knows his food, he gives recipes and well he is the best salesperson ever because I have gotten all the following items from his show:
(Don’t judge me…)

BBQ Pan, I got this pan because since this was our first summer as homeowners, we went BBQ crazy! This pan is awesome though because you can grill burgers and toast buns all at the same time without using foil.
This are my go to steamers, I used these for my sons fruits and veggies when I made his first mushy meals. These are soooo great because you can pop anything in them, put it in the microwave and boom! steamed veggies. So awesome!
This 10inch frying pan I got on sale for under $20 bucks. Who doesn’t need another frying pan, esp when its non stick and on sale.
I saw one if my favorite food network chefs Lisa Lillien on David’s show one sunday and was blown away by all the yummy things she made that were under 200 calories! This woman is genius!! I made several things from there for a party and it was a hit!!
This was another book that was featured in “cookbook corner”. Another fabulous low calorie/fat/sugar recipe book that made yummy foods super healthy! A classic!
This one I got because well, yes, it was an impulse buy. It came with so many knives I have yet to open them all, but they are all remarkably sharp, so it was a win!
I had always wanted a pressure cooker, just because I adore pot roast. This one is perfect and it does so many things! It cooks meat perfectly, I haven’t tried to make the bread pudding but it’s on the agenda!
This slicer is the bomb.com! You can slice a million things so easily! I use it the most for onions and peppers, no teary eyes! Perfect slices.
I also got this slicer as well because I could customize the width of my slices, so when I make a salad its easy as pie to slice cucumbers and carrots, basically anything to the width of your choice, which is just fun. It presents beautifully on the table!
And the latest and greatest, the foreman grill. Now we had the old school grill (which we still used) the smaller one that did not have removable plates (and was tough as heck to clean!) And it only held 2 burgers at a time. Plus we had to depend on the grill to turn off itself, this one is fully customizable and about 3 times bigger. A cinch to clean too! Plus, looky looky, I can make waffles and muffins there too! I figure since I will be home full time for the next 3 months with a newborn, this will work perfectly!
I admit, I have a bit of an addiction, and there are still a few items that I want!
Do you have a favorite shopping genre?
