Tuesday Chatter: The first week with my newborn!

Hey Everyone!
How was your Christmas?
Mine was well, eventful to say the least, We welcomed a new baby boy to our family on 12/20/2011 and everything has been super hectic ever since.
The birth story, although simple and not too crazy, I will detail in a future post.
I got released from the hospital on Christmas Eve, and the whole family came to my house for Christmas dinner because they knew that I was immobile and unable to travel anywhere. I thought that was super nice, and we all had a great time since we got a new Xbox Kinect which kept everyone entertained after the meal.
Unfortunately, the post pregnancy swelling has knocked me literally off my feet. They are not swollen they are *swole*! The only thing that looks good about my feet right now is the pedicure that I got two weeks ago! ha! Seriously, I remember this from the last pregnancy, but I just hope it goes away soon because barely walking around with a huge ugly limp is *not cute*.
*oh em gee!*
Other than the excessive swelling from the waist down, I feel good, the incision is healing well and the baby is being super low maintenance compared to my first who was an all around the clock roller coaster!
So that’s what is going on with me, no super festive new years plans this year, but I think I will be okay hanging out with my boys :)
