Tips On How to Manage Cold & Flu Season {Infographic}

This cold and flu season has been pretty mild on my family so far, but we all know that the danger zone is usually in the colder winter months. A few months ago, I was able to meet Dr. Tanya Altman to discuss some of the signs we should be concerned about with our children.

When I was a first time mommy, I really didn’t know the ins and outs of a basic cold. When my son had fevers I would go crazy googling whether or not I should be waiting it out, or rushing him to a doctor or an ER. It can be scary because if you don’t make the right decisions at the right time, your child’s health could potentially be compromised!

The makers of Tylenol worked with Dr. Altman to create a simple infographic that you can refer to in times of need just in case your child is sick. Today I am sharing it with you!

Feel free to pin and share for later use, as we will inevitably need to refer to this in the future!!

And with this I would like to bid adieu to NaBloPoMo. It was tough, this year my breaking point was around the 22nd, Let’s just say I am so happy its finished. :)

Are you prepared for the cold and flu season? Did you know all the facts on this infographic?

  1. I have yet another cold myself right now and Lily has it, too. She started to run a low grade fever on Thanksgiving night and today seems to be fever free finally. We use the doctor’s old tried and true method of switching between Tylenol and Motrin with the girls when they are sick and if they are running really high fevers or just seem really out of it that is when I pay a visit to the pediatrician with them for a bit of piece of mind for me. But thanks for sharing and totally pinned the infographic to refer back to now. Enjoy your weekend!! :)

  3. Des has a cold right now! And his last one spread to all of us and his lingering cough lasted for weeks! This one seems more in the nose, so far. We’re a pretty healthy family and we always all get shots. I am concerned, but not outright worried.
