Sunday Faves: The Best Man Holiday, Betrayal & A Brand New Store In Times Square

Sunday Faves

Thanksgiving: I am excited that thanksgiving is upon us! It is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons but mainly because I get to spend time with my family. (Plus all the extra willing hands to help with the kids while I eat a decent meal is always welcomed!)

New Stores: a new H&M opened up right next to my job in Times Square! It is four floors of beautiful gorgeousness. I have been trying to stay away but it’s only a matter of time before it gets me (and my wallet!).

The Best Man Holiday: this movie is one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. Halfway through I was sobbing uncontrollably. By the end I wanted to ugly cry all over the movie theater. I am not a movie crier either, I think the last time I cried was the titanic. When I left the theater last weekend I was a hot mess, red nosed, poofy eyes. The movie was excellent. If you haven’t seen it, go!!

X Factor: This season is very interesting. There are some acts that I really can’t stand and some that are great but I know America won’t let them win. There is a cute couple on the show however, that gets my vote every single time! They have this amazing chemistry and they can SANG. I’ll keep watching though because my eldest boy LOVES the show and can’t miss it!

Betrayal:Yes I watch this. I don’t know how. I don’t know why. But I am in and I am in deep. There is a certain cheesiness factor that can’t be denied but MAN this show is juicy!! Obviously I can only watch after the kids go to bed, but man there is some HEAT in this show. I’m not sure where the plot can go after this season but I’ll be sitting here trying to figure it out!

The Haves And The Have Nots: YES I know I’m late. I started watching this show on demand and boy oh boy this is a reallllll soap opera. I almost wish it was a daily show! Like betrayal there is an overt amount of cheesiness but that is why we watch soaps!! The facial expressions and ridiculousness of the show make for good laugh out loud moments for me and hubby. Why didn’t y’all tell me this show was so good?

  1. I am so happy Thanksgiving is coming up and must admit I am also excited for Black Friday shopping, because it totally puts me in the Christmas mood that much more and will definitely be out shopping on Black Friday. My mom and I do it every year now since I have had kids, so it is our new tradition the last few years!! :)

  2. I always wanted to see Betrayal but I haven’t yet.
That H&M store looks like pure heaven, and pure trouble! In San Francisco we had a pretty massive H&M around Union Square. I miss it a lot around this time of year. The holiday cheer and the fact that SF is never 12 degrees like it was here this morning!
