Staying On Track Despite The Holiday Season

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! I always enjoy spending time with my family but something a out thanksgiving just seems to get more and more special every year.

One thing that never changes however is how good the food is, I mean the holiday season is designed to be filled with yummy comfort foods–basically ALL the foods you want to avoid if you are losing weight.

It was really, really good! I can’t lie.

Now, it’s time to get back to it.

It’s around this time where a lot of diets spin out of control. After having one bad turkey day and a few too many leftovers folks think its totally okay to continue eating with reckless abandon because there are endless Christmas parties and candy and cookies. its so easy to  get distracted then join the masses on Jan 1 that are going to lose 50 lbs in one month.

Well I’m here to say: let’s stay focused…not only will we go against the odds–we will beat them. Stay focused on your weightloss goals, fitness milestones even during the most wonderful time of the year.

This month I am going to be hyper aware of my intake and push my fitness extra. I plan to lose during this holiday season–no slacking, no excuses.

How do you plan on sticking with your fitness goals this holiday season?

    • Thanks cam, I think the hardest part about having a second is adding that gymtime, hopefully you will find a routine soon!

  6. I LOVE the new look of your site! Gorgeous!

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was quiet and peaceful just the way we wanted it. Didn’t over indulge in food, Kept it simple but we ate our favorite holiday foods. Going with a plan to stick to “regualr eating” as much as possible. It helps that we are planning for a quieter holiday,
