Friday Fitness Check In – Before & After, One Month Results!

I am starting a new series @ BAM called the Friday Fitness Check In! I am using this as a bit of a diary to keep my goals in check while sharing exactly what I am doing with you (since I get so many questions about it! :) Feel free to link up and do your own Friday Fitness Check In where you can keep track of the following:
  1. Fitness: Workouts for the week, how did I feel
  2. Food: Did I eat well? Let’s be honest shall we?
  3. Strength Training: Did I lift weights this week? How many reps and what exercises?
  4. Mind and Motivation: Where am I mentally? What motivated me this week?
  5. Weight: Have I lost weight this week? gained?

Nike Training Club – 15 Minute AB Burner (oh my word this was hard!)

I haven’t been feeling super motivated this week, I have nothing to blame really no excuses, I just didn’t have the weightloss fire this week. Losing weight is hard work, you gotta make the right food choices even though Aunt Red is telling you to eat everything under the sun. Knowing you are full but it doesn’t matter because it tastes really really good.

But this is why I do this check-in, to figure out how I’m feeling, and where to change if necessary. Next week is thanksgiving. I can’t lie. I’ll be eating. But! I am also planning on working out on Black Friday while everyone else is trampling over each other shopping for Black Friday Deals.

I will be aware of my limit. I’ll drink a gallon of water before I eat. I will work my tail off the next day. :)
My food intake wasn’t really good, but it wasn’t bad.  I could have eaten MUCH cleaner, however I didn’t go off the deep end. I only ate rice once this week and for me, that is a win!
I didn’t weigh in this week, because I don’t weigh in when that aunt is on her way—however—something that is even better than numbers off the scale is visual confirmation:
That picture is from ONE MONTH AGO and NOW. Even *I* can’t believe it…Goes to show that while I have been steady focusing on the number of pounds lost I had been ignoring the inches. This is only a 4 pound difference. I will take a photo every month, on the 15th, to keep track of my progress as well.
