Dear Hurricane Sandy…

Dear Sandy…

You are quite the storm aren’t you?

Unlike your friend Irene, you sort of sneaked up on us binding forces with other storms and causing havoc all in the Caribbean.

I, like most, didn’t pay much attention to you.

I chuckled when I heard your nickname: “Frankenstorm” (That still makes me giggle)

Now it looks like you are the real deal!

You have shut down all schools and the trains and buses in NYC. We know that EVERYTHING depends on our transportation system so…

a) I get a day off from commuting into work *dancing with joy*
b) We understand, you are not to be messed with.

I too, have fallen into the hysteria behind very big storms…we are fully stocked with water, food and movies.

Sandy, like most, I am VERY curious as to what exactly you will bring…

Whatever it is, i’m ready.

Is hurricane Sandy in your area? Have you prepared?

Very cute post! Yup, we are prepared for the hurricane, but then again, we are so stocked up with food and water all the time we're prepared for everything. Only thing we were stocked up with was games for the little one. That we did today. I must say I did enjoy the short lines in Toys R Us (since I know everyone was in the grocery stores).

Hope you and your family stays safe.

You better get your Zumba on in the living room!

It souds like it is going to be a whopper of a storm. Glad you guys have everything you need. We're south and the winds here are ridiculous so we are even feeling a bit of it. We didn't get any rain but the temperatures here have dropped we are in the high 30s for our low. So unheard of for this time of year.
