Off To B-More for Fitbloggin!

I leave for Baltimore in just a few hours for this amazing bloggy conference and here are some of the thoughts that are swimming around aimlessly in my brain…

Its really really weird that I have not packed yet, usually I am the type of gal to pack 2 weeks early then drive myself crazy wondering where on earth are the things I packed.

Packing for this trip has made me realize I have absolutely no chill clothes. I have a ton of work clothes, a ton of workout clothes but nothing in between. Who wants to be that girl in a cocktail dress and heels while everyone is hanging out in jeans and nice tops?

Is a last minute shopping trip in order??

I’ve been on weight watchers now for almost two weeks. Will I stick to it? Will I track correctly?

It’s a good thing I’ve got tons of activity and treat points banked for this occasion.

Will I really work out hard? Like really hard? Or will I be shy and reserved?

I’m so glad I went to blogher because I think that truly prepared me for anything.

I really need to finish packing.

Don’t forget to tell Siri to remind you not to forget your fitbit, your camera and your (moms) iPad (and chargers!!)

Why haven’t you finished packing?

At least blogher was in my own backyard, I’ve never been to Baltimore in my adult life so this will add a new dimension to the trip.


WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING SIGNING UP FOR A 5K?! You haven’t ran casually in months. You haven’t run a 5k in as many years…maybe I can run/walk it? Walk/run it? Walk it?!?!

The kids will be fine. The kids will be fine. The kids WILL be FINE.

I sure wish I was more fit for fitbloggin.

Two nights of uninterrupted sleep = winning.

Take the time to enjoy the conference. There were so many times in blogher that I was completely unfocused and my mind was on the next thing I had to do, what was next on the calendar. Chill, workout, chill some more!

Am I supposed to eat salads the entire trip? Will there be real food?

Take physical notes. (you are not as fast of a typist on the iPad as you think you are)

Have a great time, laugh, smile and don’t forget to be yourself.

And for the love of everything, finish packing!!
