Food was okay this week, I didn’t eat a lot of home cooked food because of my insane schedule this week. I tried to make the best of my choices but sometimes to be honest they weren’t the best. Since I didn’t cook much this week, it unfortunately meant that all calorie counting went out the window too.
A bright spot is that I have finally increased my water intake by finally utilizing the Camelbak water bottle that I got from FitBlogNYC. For some reason when I have this particular water bottle around I finish this entire thing within 5 minutes. The only thing that separates me from drinking more is stopping what I’m doing at work to go potty! I also got in all my fruits this week so I am happy for that.
So yeah, as I mentioned before my schedule was a bit insane this week. I had some family visiting from Jamaica, two blog related events and numerous client meetings for my day job that required lots of travel. So trying to fit in 90 minute workouts from Jamie Eason was not only difficult it was almost impossible.
Actually doing the workouts required me to get up early almost everyday. Unfortunately most days I underestimated how much time I would need and I ended up rushing through the program. There has definitely has to be a better way! Next week is a calmer week so I’m going to see how I fare. I also only did 4 out of 6 required days–I took off Thursday from lifting so that I could give it my all for Zumba Proskills training today. I’ll pick up where I left off on Monday.
