Why Jabra Sport Coach Wireless Headphones are BOSS.
If anyone asked me what my number one pet peeve is in the entire world first I’d say poking. Next I’d say earphones that don’t stay still when I work out.
I’ll never have to worry about that pet peeve ever again!
Last week I attended an event at the BFX Studios workout facility in Chelsea Manhattan. When I walked in, I couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was. From the fancy locker room with towels (actual hand towels) to wipe your hands with to the sleek gym equipment—this place was pretty much my fantasy gym.
The media was there to celebrate the new launch of the Jabra Sports Coach. I have been a fan of Jabra for a long time (my first Bluetooth headset was from them!!—you know when Bluetooth phone headsets were a thing). Plus I don’t own any wireless headphones and have seen a lot of my friends with them. I usually wear big soundproofing headphones because those are the only ones that stay still on my head. They are pretty clunky to say the least.
The workout was a HIIT workout that came directly from the Jabra Sports Coach App. When we arrived we learned that we would be working out WITH the headphones. I immediately balked at this because my ear lobes are so small that I’m pretty sure if I coughed lightly they would fall out—so doing burpees and jumping jacks was NOT going to work.
When I arrived one of the Jabra representatives fitted my headphones and helped me download the app. Within 10 minutes I was ready to go. The headphones felt super secure but I really didn’t believe it until I actually started exercising.
The room was split in two and we chose one of the crosstraining workouts that was already programmed in the app. The app also can chose from your iTunes or live streaming app like Pandora or Spotify to play music while you are working out. The beauty of the Jabra Sports Coach is that you can hear your coach tell you when to rest or when to start the next exercise. Completely hands free. Not only can you choose your workout, you can customize it too. There is a LONG list of exercises so if you wanted to make it leg day—you could easily do so.
The workout was tough! HIIT workouts are simply no joke. I did a lot of high knees, lunges, kettlebell swings, and burpees. The Jabra Sport Coach headphones never fell out once. I was shocked!
There is also a running component where you can set your goal pace for running and the Jabra Sport Coach will tell you if you are keeping on pace or not. Very handy when you have a miles minimum for marathon training and very little time to achieve it!
What I love about the headphones:
- Light (doesn’t require extra piece that sits on the neck)
- STAYS IN EARS
- Microphone and volume control remote on the headset
- Noise canceling sound
- can fast forward tracks while you are moving!
What I don’t love:
- nothing I love it!
Overall I am completely and utterly in love with the Jabra Sport Coach. I use them exclusively for my runs and it’s has been a great experience so far. I highly recommend!
