Shoutout to me for another really good week, maybe it’s fitbloggin, or maybe I am actually finally getting a grip on this healthy eating thing but I have been doing really well food wise.

I had two salads for lunch this week…(which are so so expensive in the city! Omg! I need to start making my own, STAT) bother were good. The first one was really good and exceptionally filling which was honestly quite surprising to me. Somewhere in my head I believed that the salad wouldn’t keep me full because it had no protein. Since I don’t eat chicken I thought I’d be starving afterwards.

I totally wasn’t! I was totally fine until dinner who knew?! The second one I got from whole foods and there was some kale thrown in, it was my second time eating kale and it wasn’t that bad!

It is a conference weekend this weekend (Blogging While Brown) so I will try my best to keep up the pattern! (No guarantees lol)

I had a fan-tas-tic workout week this week! I mean high calorie burn days–sore everywhere–type of a gym week! Since I could only workout 4 times this week I knew I had to go hard!

And my body is thanking me for it. I am starting to get compliments again and that had stopped for a long while, so it’s so nice to know that my body is visibly changing again.

If you follow me on Instagram you have seen these pics, but I can’t lie, I love my curves. Often times you see people on weight loss journeys that hate their bodies so much lets not get it twisted…I love my body! I am so happy God blessed me with these curves. I only want to flatten out my post baby tummy and slim down one more size. And for me that goal is about 10 pounds away. These last ten pounds are tougher than nails for sure!

It’s time for you to check IN! What do you LOVE about your body? How are your food/fitness goals coming along this week? Don’t forget to encourage EACH OTHER in the comments!

  2. I’m in the last ten pounds too. I’m still nursing so I do think quitting will help. At least it did with the first baby. Kale can be very good! We try many ways to prepare it ’cause it’s not like..ice cream or anything. But it has its own charm.
