The holiday weekend was interesting. I had one really bad meal and my body punished me swiftly and fiercely for it! I couldn’t believe my body was acting so silly! It sure taught me a lesson–you ain’t eating what you used to so don’t go back to old habits!
The rest of the week was pretty normal, there were no more company meetings and such so no cookie temptations. Thank goodness I ate a lot of fruit this week and my lemon water is going strong. The night snacking has also been non existent. I could have done better with my choices but I am feeling good overall about my meals.
I know I keep talking about it but with one month until Fitbloggin I am feeling fantastic. I did great with my workouts this week and I think a major part of that was re-focusing on the actual workouts. Last week I felt like I was just going through the motions of working out because of all the crazy that was happening. This week I felt every exercise, and I was mentally present during every single workout. Plus I got in my 4 days!
I really have to be in a good place physically before the conference because the workouts are killer and multiple during the days of the conference + I want to try and maybe do a bike tour the city of Portland since it is a city for bikers (so I hear) .
