The Craziest Weekend of 2012

I had a heck of a weekend, its Wednesday and I am still recovering!

First, on Friday, I went upstate to attend one of my close cousin’s graduation from my graduate school alma matter Marist College.DSC00452

The graduate and her daughter Smile

It was like DeJaVu I was just graduating with my masters degree just 2 years ago in the same place. Crazy how time flies!!

Next, we had a family dinner/reception in her honor which was amazing (as usual) its so good to spend time with family that you don’t get to see often! I even made some cupcakes for her! Smile

Both the oreo and the red velvet were huge hits! Everyone wanted my business card and I actually ran out! I didn’t expect all of the attention the cupcakes brought but it was awesome to be adored Smile Since I live about 3 hours away from the graduate it would be hard to do business out there but MAN they were throwing opportunities my way left and right! I think I have found a legitimate side hustle! and doing something I adore no less!

Later on that evening, we went to the club, I will post on this in much more detail in a few days… Smile

We got in around 4 am then my family and I were back on the road by 6am because my mom had to work that morning.  Can you say TIRED?! Thankfully my hubby let me sleep during the day on Saturday so I could get ready and head out to my wonderful book club to discuss the final two books in the 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy. We went to a Mediterranean restaurant on the LES called “Nomad”.

They had the best pomegranate ginger ale ever! I had TWO!

This guy had dinner with us too!

The discussion was spicy and we had a really great time!

Finally, The bestie graduated with her MSW at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, I was screaming and whooping like a proud parent…….but so was everyone else, I had a KILLER headache afterwards! But it was so worth it for this girl…

And that is a wrap of my craziest weekend of 2012!
