The organizers of Getting Gorgeous 2013 were gracious enough to invite me to this awesome event. I was not compensated for this post.
Getting Gorgeous 2013
Last weekend I was invited to Getting Gorgeous 2013 and I had a really amazing time. I’ve been to events like these in the past and Getting Gorgeous 2013 was every single thing I thought it would be and more!
I was really impressed by the awesomeness of the layout and the overall fabulousity of it all. I bring to you the amazing sponsors for Getting Gorgeous 2013:
When I walked in, the first thing I saw was girls getting glammed up by getting their hair done and free manicures for all!
Then I went over to the BB Creme section where I was matched properly for BB Creme. The very nice beauty expert blended it for me and I admit, it looked pretty good. I had previously used a different brand of BB Creme but this one seemed to fit my tone better. I was happy to run into Kim from Beauty and the Bump and Makeup By Kim Porter.
I made my way over to the downy/tide area and they have so many new products like these beads (that smell amazing!) I really love scent boosters in my laundry so I was all over those!
I also stopped by Dial because they now have a body/hair wash for kids 2y-6y and one for 6y and up. They also gave me cute little bath toys for the kids
New balance was also in the building! I love and adore new balance so I was super excited to see them there! They have awesome new super light and stylish walking shoes and Heidi Klum is going to have a full line of products out soon as well! I love the colors the most!
According to the Wall Street Journal there is no Blogger event without cocktails (insert side eye from heaven here). Bacardi was in the building for the dranks but at least these were low calorie cocktails. I didn’t partake, and I gave my drink tickets away. As you can imagine it was a popular table
I also went over to Foster Grant and shamelessly revealed that I don’t own a pair of sunglasses because I can never figure out the correct shape for my face. She let me know immediately that I would need oversize or cat eyes. She made me try a few on and boom, I had finally found a pair that looks so good! I casually mentioned that I wish I would walk into a Duane Reade and buy them–she went into her bag of goodies and unfortunately there was no more of that pair left. Just my luck
Then she said I could HAVE them because it was so late in the day and they were going to be wrapping up soon OMG! SCORE!!!
(I just love this picture by the way, and if you follow me on instagram, google plus, and twitter you know that I changed ALL my avi’s! LOL good pics don’t come along all that often round these parts)
There were several more fantastic vendors and I enjoyed ALL of them. There are really some great new products, and the Getting Gorgeous 2013 team was gracious enough to send us home with a bag full of goodies.
