Last week before we attended the Inaugural Play Fair New York we were invited to attend a brunch hosted by The Secret Life Of Pets.
If you have been to any kids movies lately you have undoubtedly seen the trailer for this adorable movie that highlights what you pets do when you are not home. Have you guys seen the trailer? Take a look!
As I mentioned in the play fair post—it was incredibly cold that day. One degree outside when we left the house. ONE STINKING DEGREE. Since The Crosby Hotel is located in downtown manhattan and I had an Uber credit, we took a cab ALL the way to Manhattan! This pretty much never happens so this was a big deal.
It was so worth it though because there was a ton fun to be had. Before we checked out all the toys, merchandise and fun, we sat down to eat brunch because it was 10am and we were starving!
There was so much yummy to choose from but I especially enjoyed these pet shaped pancakes. They were so cute!
When we were done, I let the boys check out all the fun toys. My little one was so excited about this pet dog that he could “walk”. The dog actually moves and walks with him! I was glad he loved it because that is the closest that he may ever get to getting a real dog. 🙂
There was also some really cute stuffed animals, clothing, and even bedding of the main characters of The Secret Life Of Pets.
In addition to live previews of the movie there was plenty of fun activities too like face painting and arts and crafts which the boys loved.
Finally before we left we were asked to write on a big wall what we think our (imaginary?) pets did when we weren’t home. I loved my big boys answer. 🙂
You guys be sure to check out The Secret Life Of Pets coming out this summer! I know we sure will! 🙂
