#Bamageddon Going Strong + FitSnap – A Cool App for Your Fitness Pics!

I had a fantastic workout week. I think I might have been inspired by Billy Blanks because I really worked hard this week. I had my minimum 5 workouts (including teaching Zumba tomorrow!) this week and I really stayed focused and hit every goal for the week. My hardest workout was Monday when I did 30 minutes on the stepmill at the gym followed by 30 minutes of legs. You know it’s real when every muscle in your legs shake involuntarily!

I have been very happy with my progress, I’ve dropped a size since last October and I really hope to drop one more before the summer. It’s so hard to believe I am one size away from my goal size. I am completely content with staying at this weight as long as I can get to goal size!

I have been very consistent with my tracking on My Fitness Pal, I have logged in for over 100 days in a row although the app reset my streak recently. (BOOO!)

I track, whether good or bad. For example: superbowl Sunday included sliders, tater tots and doritos *kanye shrug*. I tracked it all and barely came in under my calorie allotment (thanks Billy!). Sometimes when I look at my lunch options, I think about whether or not I want to see a good or bad number at the end of the night when I log in. This is such a great tool to keep you accountable!

I am feeling crazy strong again. Something about those heavy weights is completely addicting! #bamageddon is such a great challenge for me because cardiovascular comes so easy. Strength Training requires that you pay close attention, count every rep, keep a proper stance during every move. You have to be totally zoned in to get the most out of it!

Lost 0.4 pounds this week which was a bit of a shock considering I increased my weight training considerably, but I’ll take it!

New Fitness Photo App – FitSnap

Have you guys ever heard of FitSnap? It is an awesome free app for your iPhone! If you are anything like me and have no shame with the gym selfies, this app is for you! It is also really good way to say what about your workout, paste it on your pic share it on instagram and go! Every pic that you have seen so far in this post is from FitSnap!

How does FitSnap work?

FitSnap is very similar to Instagram! You put in your information/what type of workout you did (cycling, cardio, running etc.)/enter your note (optional) and you are good to go! To get even more fancy you can do different filters too!

Cool part? You can buy different additional designs focused on half and marathon training, yoga, for an affordable .99c each! I love this app :) This is definitely #bamapproved. This a fun app to use for your blog, instagram, facebook fan pages–you get my drift!
