Ingredients

  • 4 thick-bone in pork chops
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 10.5oz canned cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 10.5oz canned cream of chicken soup
  • 1 14.5 oz can beef broth
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms (I used white mushrooms)
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil over medium-high heat. Season pork with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. 
  2. Sear on each side for about 3 mins per side.
  3. Remove pork chops from pan.
  4. Add cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups plus the beef broth to the pan and whisk until a sauce develops.
  5. Place mushrooms and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the pork chops on top of the mushrooms and onions.
  6. Pour the sauce over top
  7. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until pork is tender. 
  8. Serve with rice or potatoes.
