Dating: My hubby and I got to go on two very quick dates this week as my mom held on to the boys and extra half an hour after the daycare closed. We had to be home by 7:30 but it was nice getting to spend some alone time with him, two whole days in a row Almost felt like 1998 when we first started dating–except then we were in burger king everyday spitting value meals, because at 15 and 17 we we SO broke! LOL
Zumba: I am teaching my first Zumba class is in less than a week and I finally feel completely comfortable with my routine! I have been listening to these 11 songs non stop and I think if someone woke me up out of my sleep to some Marc Anthony I think I can jump right into the salsa. LOL I feel excited, not so nervous anymore and just ready to have a good time.
Fitness: I had a great week of fitness this week, 5 whole workouts for the week! I’ve even been doing the classes that I promised to try in 2013! Although I’m crazy sore and really excited to rest this weekend, I feel pretty awesome about last weeks epic workout week.
MobWives: Yes I’m watching, YES mostly muted with the caption on because they curse like sailors WOO! This show is just so bad, so wrong and so addicting. When these ladies get angry, they get ANGRY! Plus I love the fact that BIG ANG is back on TV because just about everything she says makes me giggle. There is a reason why she is my BFF.
Washington Heights: This crazy behind show done sucked me in. Maybe because I heart Washington heights in general, they have the best food and the best lounges and the best scenery EVER. Maybe because I can identify with them, and at the root of it all they are really just a mini Brooklyn in NYC…I’m hooked I already have my favorite characters, I’m taking sides, I am ALL over it.
Amish Mafia: Listen before you start giving me side eyes, my husband put me on the this show. He made me watch and like a train wreck I simply could not pull my eyes away. We all know the Amish for being to themselves and secluded so the fact that they let cameras in piqued my interest. Its basically about 3 or 4 guys that go around regulating any bad things that might be happening in the community. For example, int he episode I watched, one of the head officers in the community was meeting a call girl in a hotel off site. The mafia got word of this and went HAM on this guy. It was quite possibly the weirdest thing I have seen.
Leah over at Raising Flowers and Skids, wrote a beautiful piece on finding the inner strength to give your all to your kids when you simply don’t have anything left…I promise to give you my best and not whatever is left over…
Quiana over at Harlem Love Birds talks about Using Your Blog as a Profit Center and has a great analysis–including four categories of bloggers–which one do you fall under?
